Planner Spotlight: Laurel Denise

Planner Spotlight: Laurel Denise

The Laurel Denise brand was not always known for its unique planners.

Laurel Smith, the company’s founder, got her start making jewelry that featured her handwriting.

Some of her longtime followers will remember that along with her successful jewelry business, she had two strong planner launches back in 2010 and 2011. Back then, she ultimately decided to hold off on planners and focus entirely on growing her jewelry brand.

But something kept pulling her back to planners . . . (maybe it was the constant DMs asking her to bring it back . . .).

You see, Laurel is the first to admit that her brain works differently, and her unique planner design was the only thing that could keep her swirling thoughts, tasks, and to-do lists tamed.

The unique format of her planners keeps the monthly calendar visible all month long — while also displaying weekly views — it’s the perfect design for getting a big picture view of your busy life. It’s no wonder why customers were begging her to bring it back.

In 2020, Laurel came to us ready to take the plunge into the planner world and bring back her famous planner — plus a whole lot more! She sold her jewelry business and dove into planners head first.

Since then, our team has helped Laurel with custom planner design, overseas production management, and product line expansion. This year, she’ll have several launches of products including more planners (some in brand new formats!) and accessories galore! All with her signature pattern pairings and her famous pops of neon pink.
